I painted my first rock during my freshman year of high school over thirty years ago. When I discovered the Found Art! organization, I knew I needed something that was going to be indestructable to the elements. After seeing some of Lin Wellford's designs, I decided that painted rocks would be ideal for this activity.
The rocks are painted with Deco Art's Patio Paint. These acrylics have good lightfast qualities, and are formulated to withstand the weather. Painted rocks are coated with a clear acrylic sealer for years of enjoyment.
