Y Is For…

Y is for…
Ink
Y is for yellow. Y is for the Yucca leaves that Native Americans used for paint brushes. Y is for yarn used by textile artists, and for yard, a unit of measure for really big paintings. Y is for celebrating YAM (Youth Art Month) every March.
Y is for yugen, one of the ten Japanese qualities of mysterious skills that can be felt, but not defined, and the Yayoi art period of ancient Japan. Y is for Yarka pastels and drawing crayons, and for Yupo synthetic paper.

Y is for…
Ink
Y is for Young, Yeames, Yelland, and Yu-Tang Yang, a notable pen and ink artist. Y is for Yvon, Yewell, Yon, and Yanow, contemporary pastellist and member of the PSA.
Y is for having a yen for art, and that’s no yolk!

Yea - this is one of my favorites.
Nice work!
I kindly thank ye.
I tried to think of something clever to post in response to this one and all I could come up with was: Yumpin’ Yimminey is this ever good!
Great job Lisa… as usual!
Thanks Rita, I didn’t know you could speak Swedish!
I’m ready for …. wait a minute, I have to start from A, B, C, using my fingers to get to the next letter after Y…. oh, ya, Z. I’m ready for Z whenever you are.
I can’t believe you’re almost through the alphabet! And they keep getting better each time.
Zzzzzz. Oops, Sorry Bill, these extra long afternoon naps have me behind in everything. Just got my halloween candy today, and it was all half price! I feel pretty good about that.
Meg, I can’t believe I finished the whole alphabet. Took me long enough.
