Happy Fourth?

Uncle Sam
Ink, 10 x 7
Okay, it hasn’t been the 4th of July since last week, but we’ve been busy with bees, potatoes, zucchini and beans over the holiday weekend. Lots more zucchini bread made it to various neighbors and friends, one of whom handed me a carton of farm fresh eggs in return. Think that was a hint?
I made an enormous bowl of potato salad last night using our freshly dug (dirty) red potatoes. They are so good! I also hard boiled some of those farm fresh eggs to put in it, too. I had everything I needed already here for a change, including paprika!
I also have a bushel of green beans in the basement waiting for me today. They’re calling my name. Hear em? They’re calling Hey lazy-bones, what are you waiting for? Dry rot? Anyway, I need to have them snapped today so we can freeze them tonight- tomorrow at the latest.
Now, if you’re wondering what’s up with all the carousel horses, I’m working on a project. I’d tell you what it is, but it’s a secret project, and you’ll just have to be patient. Wouldn’t want to let the horses out of the gate too early now, would we?

Hi Angela. Thank you! Secret Project is in progress and keeping me busy. I can’t post pictures of much of it, but the carousel horses are a portion I can share without giving it away.
I’m excited, and NOT taking pictures is driving me nuts.
