Arts n’ Crafts: Flower Pots
Although convenient, I get tired of mass produced items and enjoy something a bit more personalized. Lately I’ve been looking for flower pots so I can separate my African Violets. I haven’t found anything unique and different, so I decided to try decorating some of my own.

I found some craft paint from DecoArts called Sandstone. It has a gritty texture, and comes in several colors. The striped pot is painted with Antique Mauve, Natural Beige, and Tweed. The plaid pot is Natural Beige, Tweed, and Green Mist. I used the dark green Hunter to trim the little pot in Green Mist.
The pots are sealed with indoor/outdoor acrylic sealer to protect the surface, which is also made by DecoArts.
As soon as the sealer stops feeling tacky, I’ll get these flowers into their new homes.
