Market Scene, in progress
Today’s pastel comes from the Weekend Drawing Event at WetCanvas! The image I’m working from is a market scene in China. This is my first attempt at people.
When the WDE begins, you’re allowed 1/2 hour to set up, and two hours to work. The image is posted to the forum after two hours, and is what you see here. Incomplete works may be finished later, with the completed image posted to the original thread.
Pastels go through several ugly stages while they’re being developed, and this is a good example of one! Not to worry- it’ll look better next time.
